At DisyTax, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and customer satisfaction. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and service-related disputes are handled for all services offered through disytax.com. By purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in its entirety.
1. Scope & Applicability
This policy applies to all services offered by DisyTax, including but not limited to:
- Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing — all categories
- GST Registration & GST Return Filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)
- Company Incorporation (Private Limited, OPC, LLP, Partnership, etc.)
- Firm / Proprietorship / Trust Registration
- MSME / Udyam Registration
- TDS Filing and TAN Registration
- FSSAI, Import Export Code (IEC), and other License Services
- Legal Drafting, Compliance, and Consultation Services
- Any other tax, legal, or professional services listed on disytax.com
2. Nature of Services & Service Initiation
Our services are professional and time-bound in nature. A service is considered "initiated" once any of the following has occurred after payment:
- Our team has reviewed and acknowledged your submitted documents or information.
- Work has commenced on your application, registration, or filing.
- Any communication has been sent to a government portal, department, or authority on your behalf.
- A consultation session or professional call has been conducted.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests will only be considered if they are raised before service initiation — i.e., before our team has begun working on your order. Such requests must be submitted promptly via our Contact Us page with your order details and reason for cancellation.
DisyTax reserves the sole right to determine whether a service has been initiated at the time of the cancellation request. This determination shall be final and binding.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered strictly on a case-by-case basis and are only processed in the following specific circumstances:
- Duplicate Payment: The same service was paid for more than once by the user for the same order.
- Technical Failure: Payment was deducted from your account but the service could not be initiated due to a verifiable technical error on our platform.
- Service Non-Delivery by DisyTax: The purchased service was not delivered due to a confirmed error or omission solely attributable to DisyTax (not due to user error or third-party/government delays).
- Pre-Initiation Cancellation Approved: A valid cancellation request was raised and approved before any work was initiated (subject to deductions as per Clause 3).
5. Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are explicitly excluded from refund eligibility under any circumstances:
- Service has already been completed, substantially delivered, or filed with a government authority.
- Refund request raised after 30 days from the date of transaction.
- Change of mind, unwillingness to proceed, or personal reasons after service has been initiated.
- Rejection, delay, or non-approval by a government department, tax authority, or regulatory body.
- Incorrect, incomplete, false, or misleading information or documents submitted by the user.
- Delays caused by government portal downtime, system maintenance, or technical issues on government platforms.
- Failure to respond to communications from our team within a reasonable time, leading to service expiry or cancellation.
- Dissatisfaction with the outcome of a government process that was beyond DisyTax's control.
- Services where government fees, DSC charges, stamp duties, or statutory charges have already been paid on your behalf.
- Consultation services once the session has been conducted.

7. How to Raise a Refund Request
To initiate a refund request, please follow the steps below:
- Visit our Contact Us page and submit your request.
- Provide your full name, registered mobile number or email, and order/transaction details.
- Clearly state the reason for your refund request along with any supporting evidence.
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within the timeline specified in Clause 8.
8. Refund Processing Timeline
Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved by our team, the refund will be processed to the original payment source as follows:
- UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card: 5–7 business days
- Credit Card: 7–14 business days (subject to your card issuer's processing time)
- Wallet Payments: 3–5 business days
DisyTax is not responsible for delays caused by your bank, payment provider, or financial institution after the refund has been initiated from our end. If you do not receive your refund within the specified timeline, please contact your bank first and then reach out to us via our Contact Us page.
9. Partial Refunds
In certain cases, DisyTax may offer a partial refund at our sole discretion, where:
- Only a portion of the service has been delivered due to incomplete information from the user.
- A service bundle was partially initiated and only specific components remain undelivered.
The partial refund amount will be calculated based on the value of undelivered work, after deduction of applicable administrative, gateway, and processing charges. DisyTax's assessment of the partial refund amount shall be final.
10. User Responsibilities Affecting Refund Eligibility
The following actions or omissions by the user may disqualify a refund claim entirely:
- Providing false, forged, or fabricated documents or information.
- Failure to share required documents or details within a reasonable time after purchase.
- Unresponsiveness or non-cooperation during the service delivery process.
- Attempting to misuse the refund process to obtain services without payment.
- Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting DisyTax for resolution.
11. Dispute Resolution for Refund Requests
If you are dissatisfied with our decision on a refund request, you may escalate the matter by contacting us through our Contact Us page with full details of your grievance. We will make every effort to resolve the dispute amicably within 15 business days of escalation.
If the matter remains unresolved, it shall be subject to the dispute resolution and arbitration process as described in our Terms & Conditions. All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Bihar, India.
12. Limitation of Liability
DisyTax's liability in any refund scenario shall be strictly limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the specific service in question. DisyTax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the refusal or delay of a refund, including but not limited to loss of business, opportunity, or income.
13. Policy Updates
DisyTax reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this Refund & Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We recommend reviewing this policy before making any purchase. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
